Baccarat is one of the easiest table games played in casinos, and is becoming very popular in online casinos, offering an exciting game with great chances of winning big payouts.

The main point that makes baccarat interesting is that players don’t play against the house or against other players. Rather, bets are placed against the cards themselves and there are only three possible results: "banker", "player" and "tie".

Keep in mind that the terms "player" and "banker" don’t refer to any of the actual players or the house. The dealer will distribute two hands, one known as the banker and the other called the player.

The hand with the score closest to nine wins, and if the first two cards dealt equal eight or nine, the hand is called "natural" and wins instantly. However if both hands hold the same score, the game is counted as a tie and nobody wins or loses. If neither hand is natural, additional cards are drawn to determine the winner.

The scoring is calculated as follows:

• Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings value 0

• Numbered cards receive face value.
• Any score totaling more than 10 automatically loses 10 points, for example, a score of 16 would be reduced to 6.

Players who bet on the winning hand receive a one to one payout, while players betting on a tie win one to eight payouts, however this is very rare, occurring on average in just one out of ten rounds.

Sic Bo is a fast and exciting game that originated in ancient China. The game is played using three dice and offers payouts of up to 150-to-1.

The dice are shaken in a special basket or cup, or sometimes using a special automatic shaker machine, with outcomes based on the combinations of the three dice. The payout combinations are listed on the Sic Bo table that is in some casinos and online gaming sites lit from underneath to display the winning combinations.

Players can place any number of bets on the Sic Bo table and after all bets have been made, the dealer will roll or shake the dice. Then all losing bets will be taken off the table by the dealer and winning combinations will be paid out according to the table.

It is also possible to bet that all three dice will come up with a specific number, or that only two dice will carry the same number. A simple bet is that any one of the three dice will roll a specific number which pays even money.

The Sic Bo table is marked with the numbers four to seventeen, which represent bets that the total of the three dice will equal one of these numbers, with odds ranging from 50-to-1 to 6-to-1.
